Life in the Floodplain (Video) Released in March 2023

Released in March 2023, "Life in the Floodplain" features Morgan Ruff from Tulalip Tribes, Anna and Chris Groeneveld from Groeneveld Farms, and Andy Werkhoven from Werkhoven Dairy. They each share different aspects of why the floodplain is so important for agriculture, fish, and our food security. With climate change, the Skykomish River, and other rivers in Snohomish County, has become less predictable, which is a challenge for those who live and work in the floodplain.
